Carla Montemayor is a senior public relations and strategic communications specialist at Hyde & Seek Communications , where she leads earned media and communications programs for technology, fintech and growth-stage businesses.

Her work spans media relations, executive positioning, thought leadership and strategic storytelling. She uses research, data and market context to identify the stories worth telling, sharpen what leaders want to be known for and translate complex business or technology topics into clear, credible media narratives.

Carla has more than a decade of agency and in-house communications experience. She was previously Head of Communications at Southeast Asian venture capital firm Kickstart Ventures , before moving to Melbourne as a Senior Client Manager at the PR Group , where she led communications programs across fintech, cybersecurity, health, venture capital and deep tech in the APAC region.

Working across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia gives Carla a cross-market perspective on communications . She combines local market knowledge, research and cultural context to understand what will resonate with journalists and audiences in different markets, rather than assuming the same story travels unchanged.
