Media relations & publicity
Good media coverage starts with a story journalists actually want, not a list of things your business wants to announce.
We find the strongest stories, proof and expertise inside your business, shape them for the right audience and take them to the journalists and outlets that matter.
How we think about media
Most businesses have more potential stories than they realise. The harder part is knowing which ones are genuinely interesting outside the company.
We start with the business problem, then look for the story. That might be a launch, a piece of data, a customer result, a founder perspective, a market shift or something happening in the news that your team is unusually well placed to explain.
The aim is not to get mentioned everywhere. It is to get in front of the right people with something worth remembering.
Capabilities
We pressure-test what is actually newsworthy, find the strongest angle and work out what proof will make it credible.
We take the story to relevant journalists with a clear reason to care. No mass pitching and no pretending a weak announcement is a story.
When the news cycle moves into your area of expertise, we help your spokespeople respond quickly with something useful to add.
We make sure the person representing the business knows the story, the difficult questions and what they genuinely want to say before an interview starts.
When it helps
Media relations works best when there is something real to work with.
That might be a launch, funding round, market entry, acquisition, research finding, major customer result, new category, strong founder story or a point of view that adds something to a live conversation.
If the story is not ready yet, we will tell you what is missing rather than pitching it anyway.
The outcome
Coverage is the visible part. The real job is making sure the right story reaches the right audience and leaves behind credible third-party evidence about your business.
That can mean national media, business and trade publications, broadcast, podcasts or a smaller specialist outlet your buyers actually read. Prestige is useful only when it serves the strategy.
FAQ
No. Earned media is earned. Journalists decide what they cover. We can improve the story, timing, proof and targeting, but we will not sell certainty we do not control.
You may not need one. Strong media opportunities can come from expertise, data, customer evidence, a founder story or a useful perspective on something already happening in your market.
No. We target the outlets that matter to the audience. Sometimes that is a national masthead. Sometimes a specialist trade title is far more commercially useful.
We keep the process senior and practical. We need access to the people who know the business, timely approvals and enough evidence to support the story. We do the heavy lifting around angles, pitching and media coordination.
We’ll pressure-test it and tell you what we’d take to media, what we’d leave alone and what would make the story stronger.
